1, CONVEYOR SWITCHES

Saftey Pull Cord Switch:

Used as an emergency stop switch for conveyors and other equipment. The saftey pull cord switch has one housing design that allows you interchange the switch from anywhere on the conveyor. The switch is a bi-lateral switch , meaning you can pull it from any direction. Allowing you to mount anywhere on the conveyor:(Head, Middle, Tail). Available in NEMA 4, NEMA 4X and Nickel Plated enclosures. CSA approved for Class II, Division 1 & 2, Groups E, F, & G.

Belt Misalignment Switch:

Used to monitor the position and the tracking of conveyor belts. Mounted onthe conveyor structure. When the conveyor belt begins to drift out of alignment it contacts the roller arm and signals the alarm. The switch has (2) SPDt contacts for alarm. The first at 10 Deg. for alarm and the second at 20 Deg. for shut down. Available in NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, and Nickel Plated enclosures. CSA approved for Class II, Division 1 & 2, Grouops E, F & G.

Tripper Position Switch:

Used as a heavy duty limit switch. Used to indicate the position of a "tripper" car on a conveyor with multiple discharge points. When the tripper car hits the roller it actuates the shaft in position for alarm (tripping the car). Availiable in NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, and Nickel Plated enclosures. CSA approved for Class II, Division 1 & 2, Groups E, F & G.

2,TILT SWITCH/PLUGGED CHUTE SWITCHES 

             
 Traditional (Mercury ) Tilt Switchs & Controls:

The tilt switch is actuated to 15 deg. from its vertical position due to marterial rise or plugged chute conditions, tripping the switch. Used for stacker reclaimers, radial stackers, high level for bins, vessels, high pile detector, and plugged chute applications. Availiable in standard rating and Class I & II, Fm Approved (X-Proof). Tilt switch controls available for standard and Class I & II, Fm Approved (X-Proof). Controls have (2) normally-open and normally-closed output contactsavailable for external alarms.

Non-Mercury/Mercury-Free Tilt Switches and Controls:

The tilt switch is actuated to 15 Deg. from its vertial position in full 360 Deg of direction due to rise of material or plugged chute conditions, tripping the switch. Instead of mercury, a combination of opto-electronics and solid state circuitry are used inside the probe. Used in all of the same applications as standard mercury filled probes. Available with control units in Filed mount NEMA 4, filed mount NEMA 4X, and DIN mount NEMA 1. All controls available with time delay to prevent false alarms.

3,LEVEL CONTROL (CONTINUOUS) 

Thermo Ramsey "C-Level" Continuous level system:

The "C-Level" is a continuous level system using strain guage loadcells and microporcessor based electronics to get you the most reliable level from empty to full in your silo or bin application.  It is used for inventory management/monitoring and process control during load ou or filling of day bins, vessels, or silos containing bulk solids or liquids. The "C-Level" is accurate to within +/- 2%, and is unaffected by corrosive or abraisive materials, uneven material discharge, build up on sidewalls, bridging, rat-holing or dusting. Also due to our "Press-fit" sensors, the system can operate without concern for failure or maintinence issues caused by the process environment or compensation for temerature change that can affect the accuracy of "bolt-on" systems.

Thermo Ramsey "BOB II" Inventory Management system:

When the "BOB II" systems remote is commanded to take a measurement, the motor releases a stainless steel cable from the supply pully, causing the weighted sensor probe to descend from the top of the vessel to the surface of the material. During the descent, a microcontroller counts the pulses from an internal encoder that produces 80 pulses per foot. Measurements are available in Material, Space or % of Full. For bins and tanks up to 150 ft in height.

4,LEVEL CONTROL (POINT) 

Rotary Level Probes:

The RT series rotary level control can eliminate spills, material waste and downtime by preventing bin overflows, plugged chutes and empty bins. The RT series offers advantages such as a de-energizing motor, bi-directional slip clutch, three sealed bearings and PTFE seals. They also incorporate supervisory circuitry with optical encoders and timing wheels to monitor shaft rotation. meaning that the controls have true failsafe features. Available in top mount or side mount. Available for NEMA-3, 4 , 12, 9 UL ans CSA approved Class I & II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups C,D,E,F & G

Capacitance Level Probes:

The "CAP" series capacitance level probes are designed  for difficult point level monitoring applications of bulk solid materials in bins, vessels and chutes. They are great for high level, low level indicators in plastic, food, chemical and other material applications. The capacitance probes detect the presence or absence of material by sensing the dielectric constant between the material stored in the vessel and the empty air. They have no RF interference, quick set calibration, shielded probes and no false readings from sidewall build up. Also available in flush mount design. They are available for: NEMA 4X, UL/CSA approved Hazordous Area, Class II, Div. 1&2, Groups C,D,E,F & G.
